Welcome to Texas Small Farmers & Ranchers Community Based Organization
Texas Small Farmers & Ranchers Community Based Organization was established to be a “point of contact” and liaison within the Black agriculture community, who have been systematically excluded as growers and producers.
Our core functions are:
Watch our Informative info session on current heirs property challenges for landowners.
Conversations and insights into today’s farming.
At your pace learning and development tools built just for you.
Continuous support and resources that enable information and access.
Key local and national contributors in supporting & developing programs.
We help Historically Underserved producers, form rural farmers and ranchers to urban gardeners, reach their potential in their knowledge, skills, and business enterprise. We do this by serving as a conduit to the best information and resources available, and as an active voice at the table in public and private arenas.
Our programs and collaborations will reach over 400 new families each year, including training new and existing growers, workshops, and opening the doors to sales & outlets and opportunities. In addition we will provide education for public decision makers. We will establish a culture of economic empowerment to unserved and underserved communities through the production and direct access to healthy foods… we will establish the blueprint, training the next generation of farmers and strengthening the movement for land and food sovereignty, and community self-determination.
This work takes everyone.
We are ready to help Black families, communities, and individuals today.
We are diverse and intentional.
